I am calling for a brokered Republican convention. You heard me. Here are my reasons..
First, it is obvious that within what appears to be available, there isn’t a “clear” frontrunner”.. A brokered convention might cause a candidate to step forward and do whatever is necessary to dethrone the Brown Bolshevik.
A brokered convention will create something that is desperately lacking within the Republican field as it stands today.. Excitement. Yes, excitement. I hate to say that this field of currents is as stimulating as a dial tone and these fellows are allegedly running against an abject socialist with a well documented record of failure..
The last “nearly” brokered convention was in 1976 when Ronald Reagan almost knocked Jerry Ford out of contention. This sealed within Reagan the desire to run from Day One in 1979..
By this time, after six thousand “debates” and a number of primaries the most divisive and incompetent occupant of the Slight House isn’t even breaking a socialist sweat..
Something has to give. This fascist fraud CANNOT be allowed to waltz back into and to further sully the White House. However, he and his food fascist wife aren’t really there that often. She alone has taken sixteen “vacations” since the liberals stole another election.. “Historic” debt, deficits and defaults, spending that would make Roosevelt proud and a record that would make Stalin proud and NO ONE on the right side of the ledger is making a dent..
“OWEbam-lite” or with this assembled crew, even “OWEbama White” is not the answer. The lines must be drawn in the sand..
Let’s put an AMERICAN back in the White House.

I agree with you Larry. We really need to broker the Republican Convention.Just by looking at the primaries and Caucasus we have had shows no big winner. We could surely use a Dark Horse at this time. This election process for 2012 is down right dull. Not one candidate has actually shown us a plan that he/she might work with to start the healing of this divided Republic.

I’ve asked this question to a number of people and most of them respond as if I were crazy for asking. They tell me that this is America, land of the free and there will always be elections. I tell them that we are no longer the land of the free and that if Obama gets reelected in 2012, that this just may be America’s last election.
In the past three years, the Obama administration has been very carefully crafting the nation for a political take over by his Marxist regime and this isn’t just my opinion.
Popular radio talk show host Michael Savage is the son of Russian immigrants and is very familiar with Soviet and European history. Savage warned his listeners this week saying: “I have to tell you that if this man, God forbid, is the next president of the United States, we’re going to be living in something along the lines of people say Europe . I don’t believe its going to be like Europe. I think it will be closer to Chavez’s South American dictatorship.

Over the weekend, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum told a small group of people in an Iowa coffee house that, “Barack Obama is not incompetent, ladies and gentleman. He knows exactly what he’s doing and why he’s doing it. He sees America differently than you see America”.
[Obama] has gone out of his way to divide this country in a way I haven’t seen since the Great Depression when Franklin Roosevelt went around to divide his country. That’s Obama’s hero. What makes America great [in Obama's mind it is that] the government takes money from somebody and gives it to somebody else. No, that’s what makes America, France. With his control over the Executive and Judicial branches of the government, the stage is set for a complete takeover of the government. Think about it.
Since taking office, instead of helping the economy, Obama has purposely escalated the economic crisis by plunging the country into unprecedented debt. He has a number of programs that are designed to go into effect in January 2013, just in time for his second term of office. The economic burden and increased taxes on everyone will be enough to cause the final economic collapse of the country. As soon as that happens, Obama declares Martial Law and assumes dictatorial control of the nation.
The Department of Justice has already been subverting federal laws to strip us of a number of freedoms. The Supreme Court and many of the other federal courts have been seeded with socialistic liberal judges that will rule in Obama’s favor on virtually anything, thus ending constitutional rule and law.
He’s already changing the face of America’s military. Allowing homosexuals to openly serve along with changing the retirement program is causing many conservative military leaders to resign commissions and leave the military. Some Pentagon officials are also noting that an increase in the enlistment of radical Muslims into the US military where they get all the training they need on weapons and defense systems. We have no idea how many of them there are in the armed forces or in what positions they may hold.
Obama has been wielding executive powers this past year as if he were already a dictator. When Congress is not doing his bidding, he simply bypasses them and uses an executive order to accomplish it anyway. This has set the stage for his disbandment of Congress. He would not be the first world leader to take control of a nation and disband the legislative branch of government.
He has been effectively using the media to anesthetize the public to the dangers he poses. Like a patient being prepped for surgery, people are numb to the changes and won’t have a clue what took place until they wake up in recovery and realize that free America has been removed and replaced with a regime that may parallel those of Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler, Chavez and Castro.
For the sake of our children and grandchildren, I earnestly pray that we are spared from what seems a certain future and that Obama is overwhelmingly defeated in 2012. Otherwise, heaven help us.
By the way, I went to the Internet to eduate myself about brokered conventions and superdelegates. Interesting facts.
It would open the door for Palin, who is believed by many to be a good candidate for either office. And some believe that she would like to see a brokered convention . Remember, she has never ruled out the possibility that she would run. In fact, didn’t she indicate that if necessary, she would consider entering the race ? That would add to the excitement .
Opps! I thought I was in a coma. What happened to that fire that was in Newt’s belly? I’ve been disappointed and unless he starts to “bring it” he’ll be gone. And, if Romney can scare him, Obama will eat him up and spit him out. America wants a strong leader to get us out of the mess the Democrats (and a few Republicans) put us in and all we are getting is rhetoric from Obama and boring from the Republicans. It’s as if, they’ve already gave up and that’s what scares me. To continue with Obama and his socialist ideals and theories should scare the hell out of everyone and I just don’t get that!
Even thought Newt is not the ideal candidate, I believe he is still the best out of the lot of candidates. Romney will say anything to any crowd and spin his tale of “I’m a conservative” when everything in his background, his voting record, and legislation he sign into law shows us how much he is not.
Santorum is too weak and I cannot image him going up against the Democrats and liberal Republicans in Congress and hold his own.
Paul is too out there in his policies that he will gut our defense budget on policies that say “We give up” to the political radicals in the World. I think his foreign policies are worse than Obama’s.
I came out of hibernation from my research on Obama and I still cannot believe that the stuff I’ve found continues to be hidden by the lame stream media. Have you ever wonder why all the people from his past, that shaped and molded him are all dead, which allows him to hide his past from America?
When I read your word “excitement”, it automatically dropped me back to the 2008 campaign and Sarah Palin. Although not presidential contender she added the fire to a lagging ‘it’s the best we can offer’ Republican ticket. What a fire of exitment, as her little known afore accomplishments as the governor of her state, she provided an openly, charming, embrace of the republican conventions.
But never mind a truthful person, ready to honestly tell the American people what is wrong in Washington and is ready to fix it, but not able fully to do it, afterall she would have only been Vice-President.
However, to liberals, truth is a threat to their politics and therefore anyone telling the truth is too. One could witness how voracisiously progressive’s clung to their lies as during the year of campaign and years after the election, these same advocates of anarchism enlisted, without much urging, their cohorts of the Masochistic Socialist Mayhem (MSM) in attacking Palin without cause or foundation.

You, in my opinion, are absolutely correct beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Romney is not a conservative, he is a big money backed candidate and his decisions will slide as easy as Owebama’s ineptness or Bill Clinton’s zipper. Romney’s a front, not a leader… that’s what’s in the White House now.
Remember, family, George Soros has been quoted as saying that if he can’t have Obama, Romney will do just as well….. that is an indictment as far as I’m concerned… We MUST find a better candidate!
Eileen, I seem to remember that Santorum was kind of a “loud mouth” and said some really stupid stuff when he was a Senator. Am I wrong? You have done the research that I don’t have time to do, and I’d really appreciate it if you would let me know. That’s really the only reason I don’t support him at this point. I, too, thought Newt would be the one I coule support, but he is just not bringing it any more.
I have real reservations about Palin. Not because she wouldn’t be good as either Pres or VP, because I think she would be great, but I just think that she would be savaged by the MSM and the Conservative media would be hard pressed to fight that with the present set of tools we have to work with. We need some serious “scandal-finders with teeth” to unearth and expose the filthy underbelly of lies and chicanery that has overtaken the MSM. And we need it YESTERDAY!!!!

BTW… have any of you seen this “Vote America” thing going around? They are asking everyone to sign up, be a delegate and vote for a set of candidates that they promise to get on every ballot in the nation. They claim it is party-neutral. The Presidential nominee will be from one party and the VP has to be from the other….. sounds kind of fishy to me… anyone know who is really behind this?

As a Senator in a hard-core Dem. staate, Santorum had to make some noise, or be steam rolled . He also had to make some compromises to attempt to get anything done. Phila. is an almost impossible situation for the GOP.
Have not heard about Vote America, but it sounds more like a third party situation, which would result in a shoo-in for Owebama. Therefore, who is REALLY behind it ?

On a side note, Owebama just made a big appearance at the Boeing plant in Seattle, so he could brag about the 63 plane contract with Air India, in spite of the fact that he and his union thugs shot down the plant that Boeing wanted to build in SC , because it would not be a union shop.
Now, for the rest of the story. Our Import – Export Bank, which funds foreign companies ( NOT domestic ) supplied the funds to Air India to purchase the Boeing jets ! Thats not all – Delta, which has daily direct flights to India now, will lose those runs because Air India ( with their new Boeing jets ) will take them. How many jobs will Delta be forced to eliminate, thanks to Owebama ? What a fraud.

There were so many dumb things he said and seemed desperate to keep his seat in the Senate, the more he tried the worse it got. And, of course he lost his seat to Casey. Santorum is a follower not a leader. Which is why I think he is weak.
Both Santorum and Gingrich were in sandals the difference is that Gingrich is still a leader while Santorum is still a follower.

Whenever the well known anti-american efforts of a scourge such as George Soros finds favor in a Republican candidate it would or should be enough to throw any common-sense thinking voter off of Romney. But think about it Soro’s statement in the abstract. Would he have made it exacty as a calculated risk for that purpose? In other words, lessening Romney’s votes by dispersing them among other republican candidatates and ensuring Owebama’s win.

While I hadn’t questioned Santorum’s qualifications, your expose’ of his quotes and mis-quotes were enlightening. They, in fact, reminded me somewhat of the boy king that now occupies the Brown House. I laughed my socks off that the die hard liberals of Penn. became so irate over his living in a different state, yet, could give a crap less whether or not our presidential purveyor of national poverty is an actual citizen of any state.
Unfortunately, I have the feeling that the with the RNC in the background, the MSM are promoting both Romney and Santorum with little, if not downright ignoring the few candidates remaining. To me, with the RNC it has become a “Star Search”, a best looking, presentable and well-spoken candidate they can find, not the most qaulified. Hell, this is machinery of politics we’re talking about, and in reality there are few politicians that are not greased by the gears.

That America Votes, or whatever it was called doesn’t seem to be around any more… maybe they gave up. If I can find it again I will post a link.
Something else to think about, a new report by the Pew Center on States finds there are currently 1.8 million dead people registered to vote. To top that off there are also currently 24 million registrations that are either invalid or inaccurate. Now there’s a supposedly non-government funded, re-named ACORN field day just waiting to happen!
