When I see the 143-day wonder and all that he has “accomplished”, I am reminded of the old James Bond movie “Goldfinger”. One of the tag lines for the movie was that everything he touched turned to gold. In the case of Obama, I consider him to be “Moldfinger” for obvious reasons..
Just passing through today I heard a television say, “So many questions remain relative to the death of Michael Jackson..” Actually, only one remains for me: When will we stop hearing about it?

What has the ‘143 day wonder’ done so far that is positive , or good for this country ? What he has ‘accomplished ‘ is all negative and destructive. How long can this go on , before we are really in a serious bind? Spend, borrow, spend, print money, spend, . . . . it MUST STOP !! Wait ’til cap & trade hits the fan , and the reality of it strikes home – then MAYBE some people will wake up .
What will the MSM say when and if the children that MJ abused get the chance to speak up ?

I think we’ll here the end of the media’s coverage of Jacko’s death long before the MSM covers the TEA parties fairly or takes up the question of BHO”s birth certificate!

It’s sad that he died, but he should not be relegated to hero worship. He was just a mentally missed up guy who had a lot of “personal issues.” He used money to try and heal his own soul and most likely died from his own hands. The man sang and danced and he was good at both but, he should not be made a Saint. Let’s hope a Judge demands that his white children won’t be raised by the same people who messed up their father. Let’s face it none of them will be a hands on parent. There will be nannies and paid staff watching out for them and let’s hope the Judge sees fit to have someone outsider from the family to watch out for his children’s best interest. (Question how can a black man create a blue eyed blond child, when the “supposed” mother is a bottled blond and has brown eyes). We are so tired for all the Jackson propaganda I want to run screaming from the room. That’s why the TV was off all day yesterday.
And yes, Michael is still dead and he won’t be crawling out from behind a large rock.

Larry and Family:
A friend sent me this yesterday:
“Here’s a prime example of why this great country is going to hell in a handbasket………
Ed McMahon died this week. He was a great entertainer, but prior to his stage accomplishments he was a Marine Corps fighter pilot in WWII earning six Air Medals and attained the rank of Colonel. He was discharged in 1946 and was later promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in the CA Air National Guard.
Farrah Fawcett died this week after a long career in Hollywood as an actress. After she was diagnosed with cancer, she became an activist for cancer treatment and devoted her last remaining years encouraging people to seek treatment. She documented her plight on film and used it to encourage others to stay positive and upbeat despite their diagnosis and suffering.
Michael Jackson died this week. He was perhaps one of the most famous singers of modern time. He will also be remembered for his eccentric lifestyle that included sleeping with a chimpanzee, living in a carnival-like atmosphere at Neverland, his fascination with Peter Pan, and his numerous masks and costumes. He also admitted to finding pleasure sleeping with young boys and paying out millions of dollars in settlements to the families of these boys despite being acquitted by a court on one allegation of sexual molestation.
QUESTION – Which of the above did the House of Representatives declare a moment of silence for Tuesday, June 30, 2009?
(Hint – It wasn’t the first two.) ”
The MSM only seems to want to cover stories concerning people who live bizzare and/or immoral lifestyles. Anyone who is decent and does good things in their lives barely gets a line or two and. then only if they need to fill in some empty spots in the newspapers.

Nobody cared about The Pedophile-other than making him the butt of jokes- until he died. All he did was use people for what he could get from them. It will be interesting to see how much money he owed various people. Apparently the Sultan of Brunei sued him for over four million pounds awhile back, just one of many he mooched from.
He bleached his skin white, did everything he could to appear as White as pool, but he is now a black “icon”. Of course I am sorry he died, as I mourn the passing of anyone- especially one so young. But this quickly degenerates into a farce.
Larry, I am no suck-up, but as time passes I find I look forward to your next posting with ever-increasing expectation. You are an oasis of reason in a world growing ever more chaotic.
May God bless you-and the Family-and the increasingly important mission you have undertaken.

It was said that as The Gloved One approached St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, that St. Peter told Michael to “beat it”, i.e. go away! (LOL)

I just received my copy of TV Guide today and much to my joy, the cover is an angel. Farah was a class act and I for one enjoyed her roles.
I was sick of the gloved one within the first half hour. Everybody kept repeating the same thing over and over and over ad nauseume. My channel changer has had a good workout!

I’ll add two more names to the list of celebrities that also died that same week. Billy Mayes also died and was also 50. I hated his commercials and generally changed the channel when they came on. He became a millionaire hawking a butch of products from soap detergent to affordable health insurance. I’m sure Publishers Clearinghouse will grieve for his departure from this earth. God Bless Billy.
The other celebrity who also died was Karl Malden a well respect actor and Oscar winner for “A Streetcar Named Desire.” He was 97. I saw neither press coverage nor even a blimp from the media. A few press clippings relegated to page 50. Karl and his wife recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. The achievement alone should have warranted a small mention. He receive a 2 Academy Award nominations (winning the golden statute once), 5 Emmy nomination (winning once for the television miniseries based on the Joe McGinniss book “Fatal Vision” about the murder of Jeffrey McDonald’s pregnant wife and two young daughters). He appeared as a Priest during the reign of the series “The West Wing.” I only wish Hollywood and the entertainment rags at least note his passing. But they were more interested covering Jackson and trying to deliver the salacious details of his death. I think he deserved some attention. Rest in Peace Mr. Malden.
