Proper Focus On Offensive

July 28, 2009 · 9 Comments

On Fox and Friends, Dr. Marc Siegel said that on page 389 of the Obama “Soylent Green Health Scare Bill” the mentally handicapped were termed “retarded” by the bill’s authors. Dr. Siegel called this “offensive and outdated”.

Yes, it is “outdated”. No one has had such “health care” available since the Russians offered it in 1918..

My prediction: our next “Czar” will be the “Quality of Life Czar” who will be created to monitor the health bill, kind of like how Biden monitors the stimulus “package”. (Biden would do a much better job monitoring a “package” liquor store..) This “individual” will determine whether your medical care is “necessary” or “beneficial”.. Remember, these are people who wholeheartedly endorse abortion and the euthanizing of the elderly and the infirm.. Exactly how much “medical care” will they be providing when the liberals involved with this health care fiasco will all have the morgue and the undertaker on their speed dials?

We need to properly focus on what is REALLY offensive within this bill. This “retarded” diversion shouldn’t deflect you from this reality: Kids, the ENTIRE bill is “offensive”. Why focus on one word when there are 1,018 pages, each as equally “offensive” as the next?

So, a dopey “professor” or “scholar” as he has been referred to, (bringing new light to the fact that education is by no means synonymous with intelligence..) decides to break into his own house and when the police respond to investigate, (something that they are paid to do..) he unloads the minority agitator default setting upon them: racist. Next, Obama decides to “act stupidly” by chiming in with his worm’s eye view that the police “acted stupidly”.. A few thoughts, if I may..

Obama knows as much about police work as he does about capitalism.. Liberals think that they know everything about everything and that the world is therefore entitled to their uniformed and uneducated opinion on everything.. His “opinion” on this matter is as irrelevant as his Secretary of State and no matter what says or when he says it, someone will be there to record it and it will be used against him. An inexperienced “politician” like Obama never seems to grasp the country’s “obsession” with their idiotic remarks.

Yoo hoo, Barack… You are the President (unfortunately) and there is a whole slew of people just waiting for you to say something moronic. The good news is that they never have that long to wait. The bad news is that as long as you hold office they are never going away.. Bad news for you, that is..

Even if you were mildly observant, you might have remembered how your media buddies treated George Bush, or any Republican for that matter. As opposed to giggling about the gaffes, you should have been looking towards your own future and paying a bit more attention..

The tide has turned.. The “race card” hasn’t been removed from the deck but it is so worn from misuse and abuse that no one recognizes it anymore. Remember, Obama said that he was going to “bring people together, not keep them apart..” Rightttttttttt.. That was just another line to make the pimply coeds weep and bawl at his socialist spectacles and soirees while he was running for office..

The days of using your race as a cloak of protection that conveniently covers your every imbecilic word or deed has come to an abrupt halt. Here is without question the best example of that observation: When was the last time that $harpton and Jack$on have been this quiet? We really haven’t heard a peep from either of these two charlatans since November.. Silence IS golden. Their collection plates have all but dried up, no one is reflexively picking up the tab for them anymore and they are both back to having to do the “dine and dash”.. No one deserves obscurity more than these two “leaders”. The rallying cry that they both have abused has gone down with them..

Understanding the “racist” mentality gets you this conundrum: You investigate a crime, someone black calls you a racist for doing your job. You don’t respond in a matter befitting the opinion of the “racist” and they call you a racist because you “don’t care that the victim was black”. They scream and march, demanding that you leave their neighborhoods because you arrest too many minorities. Then after you leave, they scream and march saying that you are never in minority neighborhoods preventing crime..

Obama should just keep his mind on destroying America and he should leave the laughable cries of “racist” to the professionals..

So??

July 24, 2009 · 10 Comments

Here are a few headlines from news stories that I have seen today and my response to each of them is: So?

“Where Is Jacko’s Nose?” “King of Pop’s prosthetic nose was not on his face at the morgue, has yet to be found..”

“Plane Skids Off Runway in Iran Killing 17″.

“McCain Lawyers Investigated Obama Citizenship.”

“Obama Denounces Capitalism, Demands Complete Conformity To Oligarchy”.

(About the third headline, maybe that response should read, “why not?” Sorry, I couldn’t resist the fourth one.. It’s ficticious.. I think..)

Flunkin’ Fascist Style

July 22, 2009 · 11 Comments

Tonight, the latest episode in the grim “reality” show entitled “The Obamaramadrama” will take to the airwaves during “prime time.”

It’s just another force feeding of the dishonesty, the distortion and the disinformation that surrounds this health care hyseria.

Rahm Emenuel, White House Thief of Staff calls this “news” conference a “six month report card”.. I’ll just ask you a question. Is it possible to score an F minus? You guys are just flunkin’ fascist style..

Emanuel unloaded the “mother of all boners” by saying that Obama will discuss “how we rescued the economy”..

These are the same idiots that giggled like school girls over the Bush “mission accomplished” banner, right??

An Allusion To An Illusion

July 18, 2009 · 33 Comments

I sometimes wonder about the “exercise in futility” (or should it be an “exorcise in futility”?) that the writing of articles relative to the liberal political landscape has become..

The urge to take the easy way out, the lure to become one of the multiple millions of the “apathetic”, those that have seemingly given up and given in, is hypnotic..

Anyone who undertakes a project like political commentary hopes to make a “difference” of some kind.. Of course the cathartic benefits are numerous, but in stirring the embers of political discourse you always yearn to have an impact of some kind and variety. The motivation for such an effort comes from deep within. Needless to say, right is right and left is wrong.. Just hollering at the television isn’t good enough..

The cultural apathy where Nietzsche’s “transvaluation” (old virtues become sin, old sins become virtues) flourishes, may be one thing that has softened society to the idea of political apathy. The “what’s the use” syndrome has carried over into an area that has enabled this “progressive perfect storm”..

I will never understand apathy when it comes to the idea of government and its tentacles. “Apathy” about sports or movies for example, can be understood. “Sports” doesn’t effect everyone. You don’t have to go to the movies. Government effects everyone whether they want it to or not.. “Bad” government especially does and this particular government has gone well out of its way to effect (or should that be “infect”?) everyone and they are showing no signs of giving up on the idea anytime in the future..

The old “it’s someone else’s problem” is out of bounds today. From the “stimulus” to the “cap and trade” to the “health care” nonsense to the Bolshevik “bailouts”, this will unfortunately effect every single American. From what I can gather, that seems to be all right with everyone..

It’s not all right with me..

Yet we have “allowed” a “Super Majority” of 60 Senators who will ride roughshod and completely unchecked. The House fares no better. The “idea” of “debate” or “disagreement” has been designated as verboten when it comes to the liberal caliphate.. The Constitution is irrelevant. Scruples, standards and principles have deteriorated and are denigrated as well. As a matter of fact, the left has morphed scruples into “screw-ples”..

These strange “bills” will punish the middle class for years to come. The only “hope” is to AT LEAST stop them at the polls in 2010. Thus the “rush” to get things done now.. They know that their chicanery will catch up to them.. Or will it? Apathy tells people to sit down when they should stand up. It whispers pipe down when they should scream. Fascism foments futility..

The old “it’s someone else’s problem” hasn’t taken into account the liberals “contiguous communism”. Everything the left touches spreads their vile and dystrophic disease.. They are typhoid totalitarians. This seems to be all right with everyone.

The liberals haven’t finished urinating but the fire has gone out.. The noleftturnz and the thought of the day sites serve as an example. Where there were once sixty to a hundred comments an article, now twenty to thirty..

It could very well be that the idea of “making a difference” to those who for lack of a better term, “don’t care to get involved” is nothing more than an allusion to an illusion. I therefore wonder do I more closely resemble Sisyphus with his rock or am I closer to Quixote forever tilting at windmills?

Shovel Ready

July 15, 2009 · 7 Comments

Chuck Rangel (L-NY) wants to “raise taxes” in order to “pay for” the socialized medicine scheme.. Carl Rove wondered why Obama would be targeting the middle class/small businessmen with this tax hike.

Simple..

By taxing small businesses, his “hope” is that they will have no choice but to shutter their businesses.

Obama does not want capitalism or the free market to “create jobs”, he wants the government to. Obama loves this because history has proven that “government created” jobs just create more government..

Where are all of these “shovel ready” jobs that one of his ten or so “number one priorities”, the “stimulus package”, allegedly “created”?

What that really meant was, “get your shovels ready comrades, for soon we will bury both capitalism and America”..

A Thought For Arthur

July 12, 2009 · 12 Comments

For those that might remember, just a short while back an article entitled “LA LA Land” made it to the site. It was just a few snapshots of my recent “California Experience”. A comment from Arthur however, caused me to add a part of the trip that I had not mentioned..

I had the opportunity to visit the Reagan Library and Museum. After seeing the ceremony surrounding his passing in June of 2004, this was a chance to say thanks to an American hero.

We arrived a bit early. The weather as always seemed to be the case in California was perfect. The entire grounds weren’t open when we arrived but several areas were available to us.

This afforded me the opportunity to stand alone at the final resting place of President Reagan. Saying “thanks” for the immense contributions that he made to the world seemed trivial.. In the presence of such an important international figure, sometimes “thanks” is all that you can muster.. I then turned to take in the view that meant so much to President Reagan. It was as majestic and inspiring as the man himself.

To honor him, a “slice” of the Berlin Wall is permanently displayed there, as is his Air Force One. His importance to the WORLD is always underestimated and under appreciated.

I have always had a problem with the title “the great communicator”. I do not know who gave the title to him, but to me it seems to cheapen the political beliefs that were held so dearly by President Reagan to nothing more than an inexpensive series of political platitudes. The left invariably gave its backhanded kudos by saying that the only thing that mattered was how he said things, not the content of what he said. That his speeches were a series of nouns, verbs and adjectives randomly constructed for dramatic effect.. It was the weight of his words not their assembly that made him different and important..

The reason that President Reagan so eloquently explained the conservative ethos is because they were deeply engrained within him. The proof of this can be found at the library where the hand written copies of several of his speeches are on display. Try not to read the final public address where he revealed his Alzheimer’s diagnosis without experiencing the scope and depth of the man..

The “teleprompter” is not only an addiction for Obama, it is an intellectual crutch. Without it, the veneer quickly peels away from the “great pretender”.. When President Reagan worked in Hollywood he spoke from a script. When he was working in Washington, he spoke from the heart.. The “script” explains the depth of Obama. If his politics were to be described as a body of water, he would be a babbling brook..

As it seems to go in “political cycles”, we have to “live through” a Carter in order for a Reagan to emerge. If we manage to survive an Obama, who is prepared to be our next Reagan?

The WORLD awaits an answer..

According to the Associated Press and their headline tonight:

“Report: Bush surveillance program was massive..”

To that I only have one word to say:

GOOD.

A Couple Of Quickies..

July 8, 2009 · 10 Comments

When I see the 143-day wonder and all that he has “accomplished”, I am reminded of the old James Bond movie “Goldfinger”. One of the tag lines for the movie was that everything he touched turned to gold. In the case of Obama, I consider him to be “Moldfinger” for obvious reasons..

Just passing through today I heard a television say, “So many questions remain relative to the death of Michael Jackson..” Actually, only one remains for me: When will we stop hearing about it?

Upon Whose Shoulders

July 7, 2009 · 13 Comments

I am trying for the life of me to figure out upon whose shoulders the largest part of the responsibility lies for the “Democratic Debacle of 2008/2009″.

The Democrats? Even though they did not come close to clearly stating what they would do if they were given the chance during their ridiculous “shampaigns”, WE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WOULD DO if they were given the chance..

The Republicans by not stepping up before or after the election. Before by not finding a true “leader” to take the fight to the opposition. There was sufficient time to do some scrounging around even as the original “media darling” Rodham was oiling up the machine that would inevitably implode before an unlikely usurper. After the election, their virtual silence has allowed the middle class to be targeted for termination by the Black Plague and his Marxist minions. If ever there was a need for a “leader” to step up as the voice for the loyal opposition, it is now. Actually, it was about six months ago..

The apathetic, the uninformed and the gullible. The tens of millions who “just couldn’t find the time to go vote”.. Their inaction has placed this socialist simpleton into office. The uninformed are those that say “politics doesn’t interest me..” It doesn’t really interest anyone except for those who run for office and then end up inordinately rich because of it, but it certainly does effect you whether you want it to or not.. The gullible were led by the nonsensical advertisements, the veiled and not so veiled accusations of being a racist and their shop stewards. Thank you for being slightly brighter than the light bulb in my refrigerator..

Will any of these mentioned be intelligent enough to see the error of their ways and to “do something about it” come 2010?
