Terrible Precedent

June 30, 2009 · 7 Comments

What a shock it was to learn that Obama thinks that Chavez and Castro are right. Obama said that the ousting of Manuel Zelaya, a “populist” (socialist) from Honduras was “illegal and would set a terrible precedence of transition by military force..”

The King of the Universe said, “We (who is this “we”?) believe that Zelaya remains the president of Honduras..” Is this more of the “meddling” that he didn’t want to get involved with last week with Iran? Obama’s opinions in matters pertaining to Honduras are irrelevant.

Zelaya was overthrown in a dawn coup on Sunday after he “angered the judiciary”. Obama has no worries on that front, our thoroughly domesticated liberal “judiciary” would never think to disagree with the “Destroy America First” communist crowd in Washington..

Our Secretary of State would not formally call it a “coup” because by doing so, all of the money being sent to Honduras will have to be stopped by law. The State Department has requested $68.2 million dollars for this country for fiscal 2010.. It would be nice to know what this 68 million will be getting us.. Lets call it a “coup” that way Obama can say that he has “saved” 68.2 million dollars”, not unlike his “save a million jobs” malarkey.. (Sidebar: he has lost one and a half million jobs since he decide to “save the economy”..)

Dopey Robert Gibbs, media marionette for Obama said, “Our goal is on restoring democratic order in Honduras..” While you are at it Booby, could you see about “restoring democratic order” here in the Socialist States of Amerika?

Rodham said, “If we were able to get to a status quo that returned to the rule of law..” Just the other day, Pelosi decried “the entrenched agents of the status quo” relative to those with the common sense to oppose the Obama Socialist regime and its idiotic global warming bankrupting blitzkrieg.. Here the “status quo” is fine because it would restore “order” to the country of Honduras as demanded by the hegemony in Amerika and his two fascist familiars in Central America.

We are now “meddling” in the affairs of Honduras since the fellow fascists Obama, Chavez and Castro (Obama is just hedging his bets in order to receive another wonderful present from Chavez the next time that they get to mug and make out for the cameras..) believe that we should, yet Obama didn’t want to seem to be “meddling” in the affairs of Iran, a country that BEGS for some “meddling” a week ago.. Sidebar for extra credit: Do you think that there is there any chance that the Iranian cries for freedom had anything to do with the freedom of Iraq? (YES!!) I just think of it as the “Osmotic Effects of Democracy”..

A country wants to be rid of a leftist “populist” (Zelaya doesn’t look that popular to me based on current events..) dictator and Obama says, “Foul!!”. Would this have been his response if the Iranian uprising had toppled Leisure Suit Larry? Think back to what another President did in a similar situation and what Obama would have done in that same situation..

June 12, 1987. President Reagan, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”.. Obama at the Brandenburg Gate, November 9, 1989 as the Berlin Wall fell: “Mr. Gorbechev, put this wall back up!”

“It would be a terrible precedent if we start moving backwards..” Here Obama is referring to the Honduran situation. Keep in mind that the “terrible precedence” of “moving backwards” here in America has been his “top priority” since January 20th.. It is just another “terrible precedent” by a “terrible president”..

Of course Obama is a Marxist…interestingly he ignores the “meddling” Chavez and Castro have done in Honduras to try and rebuild their Socialist revolutionary toadies that were so totally routed during the Reagan Administration( i.e. Grenada, Panama and Nicaragua ). Since Obama plans on standing aside and cheering as the banana republic dictators destabilize Democratic governments in Central and South America, what more can we expect for here at home? Hopefully our military may take a page from Honduras.
I would recommend the book from former UN Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick,” dictatorships and double standards “, which unfortunately is just as relevant today as it was in the 1980’s. One of my favorite quotes of hers was “History is a better guide than good intentions”. If only there were any adults in DC to follow her sage advice.

Note the fact that the reason Manuel Zelaya was removed from office was, above all, his clearly illegal attempt to change the Honduran Constitution, allowing him to run for, and maintain power for additional terms in his country.

Notwithstanding Zelaya’s rabid support by the many Leftists of Central and South America, wouldn’t his return to power offer our present Administration the perfect “trial balloon” and later precedent for a swift change to our own 22nd Amendment?

Our short-sighted political Left has long advocated for a more “European” style of governance for our nation, so, why not include a lean towards the brazen acts of tinhorn dictatorships which happen below our southern borders, as well?

Let’s see Obama won’t support the citizens of Iran who want freedom because he doesn’t want to meddle. But he will support a merciless dictator to keep his seat. From what I saw on Fox, this dude Zelaya was trying to change the Constitution so that he could keep his seat forever just like Hugo Chavez. And the citizens objected to the change. Have I got that right?

Why would Obama object to freedom but stand behind a dictator who wants no freedoms or free choice?

I can see ONLY one reason BHO and crew would want to meddle in Honduras, even though the people don’t want it, when the FASCISTS refused to meddle in Iran ( where the people are begging for the meddling!) Obama is as anti-freedom as he is anti-capitalism, anti-American, and anti-Israel! The S.O.B. wants to see if he can use the same tactics here!

Why are we borrowing from China so we can give to it to Honduras? Let them go directly to China and have them ask for the money. Make them responsible for paying their own debts, instead of having us be responsible. Paying Peter to pay Paul. Isn’t that what got Bernie Madoff into trouble? He took new funds to pay off the old ones?

The ‘liar in chief ‘ is both printing money, and borrowing money, and then throwing it around like a madman. I guess to him, it makes sense to borrow from one country and then give it to other countries.

How long will Rodham put up with his tactic of by-passing her , by using ” special envoys” to other countries ? And of course, they report directly to him ! And, like the czars , they by-pass the vetting process.

Glad to see Helen Thomas, and Chip Reid go after the WH press ‘clown’, Bobby G. ( who actually does perform some sort of comic relief for this disaster of an admin. )
