No Left Turnz Thought of the Day

HondurAmerica

June 26, 2009 · 8 Comments

It seems that the little country of Honduras is having a little political strife there, strife not too far removed from the kind inflicted by the fellow “populist” occupying office here in America..

In Honduras, President Manuel Zelaya has decided to rewrite the constitution. His “populist” friend up north just ignores such trivialities as a constitution..

Zelaya is also a friend of Chavez and Castro, not unlike our “populist” president. The head of the nation’s armed forces was fired for not abiding by Zelaya’s unconstitutional orders. Here the head of General Motors was fired for the exact same reason..

Michael Shifter, Latin American analyst for “International Dialogue” said that Zelaya has “a very strong appetite for power. He’s trying to be the victim, but he won’t get a lot of sympathy by defying the country’s institutions..” Here “populist” Obama has an undeniable appetite for power and pules constantly as the “victim” who has “inherited this mess”.. Sympathy is irrelevant to the “hurry up” Obama shell game..

Sounds too much like “HondurAmerica” to me..

It’s pretty amazing how Obama is getting away with all this and there is virtually no one challenging him or calling him out and documenting everything he’s doing. I just don’t understand why there isn’t someone in Government screaming on top of the Capitol Building right next to the Statue of Freedom (by the time he’s done there will be new chains on the statute).

I go to a lot of political and conservative websites EVERYONE is angry and asking why no one has coming forward to expose this shame we all know he’s trying to create. Everyone is waiting for that one person, once they come out they would most likely would stand behind him or her.

Well, they passed the flawed Cap and Trade will tonight 219 to 212. The Senate bill most likely won’t pass as the healthcare bill won’t either. But I’m sure our South American freedom fighters will be dancing in the streets tomorrow and will send a little note to Obama saying thanks for the job. He never said that he would only create jobs in America so it could be a little fib on his part. I can here it now. We created 3 million new jobs to help third world countries to compete in the green global market. I never said those newly created jobs were for just Americans. If you thought they were then it was you who misunderstood.

Eileen, so perfect! I am mad as a hatter over the passing of the climate tax. And I see Honduras is taking a cue from “free” America on how to rule the people. It is not lost on me that zero is friends with castro and chavez. If zero isn’t sleeping at night, it is because he is too excited over his next spending plan to be passed by the dodo heads in congress. My congressmen will indeed hear from me!

Well, there were 8 Republicans who jumped ship and voted for the bill. I heard some of the names this morning but I cannot recall their names now. But there was one that I do remember because he was from my district in NJ, Leonard Lance who was once one of our Freeholders for Hunterdon Country, NJ. Lance was never viewed as a Conservative in our County, he was a liberal Republican. I will dig up what I could find on the others. They were from CA, Indiana and Illinois.

    Richard,

You and many of us are ‘mad as a hatter’ , but Al Bore must be in high heaven right now, since he is one step closer to seeing his carbon credit scam come to fruition ! Then, he can turn on all the lights at his mansion , and fly around in his jet and not ‘feel guilty’, because he will have tons of carbon credits. But , don’t ask him how he got them .

    Eileen,

Too many of us are waiting for that ’someone’ to come forward. And since it not happening, maybe it is time to vote out all incumbents just as PA did a few years back. That is what happened to Rick Santorum. And, perhaps it is time for term limits, along with tougher laws for voter fraud.

Americans who spy for another country against the interests of the US are imprisoned . Why can’t a US president be imprisoned for destroying aspects of our country , such as the economy, auto industry, jobs, health care, the military, etc. ??And, if you think corruption is bad now, just wait until the unions take over every type of industry.

Besides the ‘annointed one’, the drug companies will be very happy, because there will be many depressed people in need of medication !

“How can so few cause so much damage?”

    JJ,

Nice point about the drug companies..

They will be part of the socialized medicine, “number one priority” coming soon to a theater near you..

Just wait until we all go bankrupt and get thrown out of our houses because we can’t pay the carbon taxes. They’ll install the mindless morons who put him in office and give them carbon credits funded by welfare.

Then, when there is no middle class to pay for welfare, they’ll suddenly announce that there is no “global warming” and go right back to square one again. The ultimate scam pulled by the leftist scam artists. I can’t wait for 2010.

Never give in, never give up, never again. Throw the bums out.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable Independance Day this year, because it maybe the last one we’ll celebrate, if the ‘ liar -in-chief ‘ has his way. He is not only ignoring the Constitution, he is destroying it, and the Declaration of Independance will probably be next – so, enjoy the 4th of July while you can !!

And, since he is supposedly a Muslim, how long before he outlaws the Bible ? Wonder if he is writing a “little red book” ala Chairman Mao ! And when he stops smoking, perhaps he’ll switch to Cuban cigars from his buddy Fidel. After that, maybe a little moustache like his hero, Adolph. Then , add a few inches to the waistline, to honor Hugo. Soon, he could be a combo of all of his favorite dictators.

Seriously, I do hope everyone has a good holiday, and that more young people will appreciate what this day really means !!

Interestingly the military in Honduras has placed a constitutionalist in power. So trying to portray this as a coup d’etat is absolutely incorrect. Unlike the usual history of Central America. Of course since the ousted “presidente’ ” used all sorts of Marxist and populist slogans, it makes no difference to his apologists here in the Obamanation that he was in fact a power hungry dictator. Just as long as he talks about everyone being equal etc etc etc he must be a reformer. There was an article in the NY Post today saying that the Military leaders of Honduras have stopped accepting calls from the Obama Administration. If we only had that choice as well.
