Drudge Grudge

Last month, The Drudge report got 617,577,960 hits. If I average 500 hits a day, I think that I am doing good..

I need to get busy… I’ve got a lot of catching up to do.

    How long has No Left Turnz been around? Can you imagine replying to each of his visitors as you do here…? :)

    Two very valid points.

    Almost a year for me..late October of 2007..

    There is a part of me the WANTS to be so busy that I CAN’T comment so often..

    There is another part of me that truly enjoys the interplay between what I call the “Dirty Dozen”, the dozen or so regulars who on more than one occasion, have sparked not on Thoughts of the Day but full blown articles.

    It’s kind of cool to think that you are Lee Marvin for a minute…

    Just for a minute though. I STILL have a lot of work to do.

    Larry,
    I think you are an amazing man, wonderful husband an very talented author! I am so proud of what you have accomplished in such a short time. I personally see your dedication and determination on a daily basis and I know that the sky is the limit for you!!! You are so smart and I think this is why you have attracted such intelligent readers who make a huge contribution with their insightful comments . Don’t sell yourself short…it is only a matter of time. Drudge? Drudge who? Noleftturnz is my site of choice!!!

    Your membership will increase as the word will get around. I didn’t discover you until I became curious over the adulatory comments you’d posted to Ann Coulter’s site. Even The Drudge report started with a few not a few thousand.

    You act as the intelligent mainstay in your interplay with the people who post and I, for one, would deeply regret the loss of it.

    I’ve noticed on other similar sites having no interplay by the author, the comments posted have a tendency to turn into clatter. Something like a study hall with no monitor to keep a general focus.

    Just hang in there Larry…You do a great job, like no one else does…you get the point across, with alot of humor in doing so. Keep up the great work.you do that, and we’ll keep spreading the word

    I wouldn’t be worried about Drudge. Quanity always is better than Quality.

    Remember Drudge is a news-gather. You are a news-maker. He doest his thing for a living, and a necessity. He uses very few brain cells doing what he does.

    You, on the other hand have to regrow a jillion cells for your articles every day, and “thoughts of the day”. And for YOU it is a calling and love.

    To be blessed with “Pumpkin” by your side is worth about 500, ooo, oooo hits right there. So, you see, “you ain’t got that far to go”.

    FYI, I use Drudge only as a refrence – very infrequently. And , I’m guessing that’s what about 3/4’s of the hits are. You, I use for your insight and deep thoughts and to make me think- on a regular basis. and many, many more times than his place.

    I don’t mean to belittle what he does. What he does he does well. You, on the other hand, do a much different thing, and are brilliant doing it. I wouldn’t be too worried. If you love what you’re doing, the rewards will come.

    Larry!

    Just want you to know that I SO look forward to your articles. You, Ann C. and a few others remind me that there are indeed intelligent, insightful people to turn to when the socialists are yet again making me hurl. (on the plus side, election season is a great weight-loss program!)

    I 100% agree – Drudge is a news reference – you are what we need to stay sharp & focused – and laughing!
