The famous quote goes: “The squeaky wheel gets the grease.”
With the history of the Clinton political climb, it should be rephrased to, “The squeaky wheel gets greased”…

Nice allusion to Vince Foster (and the other victims of the Clinton machine). I have always firmly believed that Slick Willie and Shillary have blood on their hands for Vince Foster’s death — and this was before I became Conservative and before I had Internet.

Sister Amy,
Did you happen to notice the automatically generated “possibly related posts”??
Looks like WordPress is looking to generate a little revenue from the number of readers that I get..
Next stop will be those stupid videos that run across the top of some web sites.
This “thought” jumped into my head while I was doing Happy Hurricane Hunters..
I have no idea how my mind works..
Thanks as always,
Larry

Larry:
In all of the negative commentary about Sarah Palin I am amazed that no one has mentioned Harry Truman’s ascension to the Presidency. He was the political machine’s (ah, the good ole days with ’smoke filled room’s’). If memory serves he was the candidate of the Prendergast machine in his home state. He was kept in the dark by Roosevelt (he didn’t even know the US was working on the atom bomb), had no foreign policy experience, yet he admittedly rose to the challenge of finishing WW II and facing up to Communism’s challenges to the West. Harry Truman and Sarah Palin share the qualities that neither Obama nor Biden have, a love of this country, common sense and a common touch. Don’t you think this topic needs exploration?

Vincent,
Yes, I do..I’ll get to work…
P.S. You do remember the famous picture on election day involving Truman? Think that we may see that again? I wonder if that was the first documented case of an”impartial media”??
Thanks as always,
Larry

More than one, less agreeable, past key associate that may have posed political harm to the Clinton’s met an early demise, while others in the know were more amiable and probably less greedy. Shouldn’t the quote be “The squeaky gets wheeled or greased?”

Larry:
I think it read:
“DEWEY WINZ” (:- }

Windrider,
Not sure about how the quote should read, just glad that I never crossed the Clinton path..

Vincent,
noleftturn “Z”, right?
I got it..
Does that mean that my predictions are as inaccurate as the Chicago Tribune who printed the Dewey headline?
I hope not..
